Rastrick High School, in partnership with Rastrick Juniors FC, Clifton Rangers Youth FC, Halifax Town and Huddersfield Town are moving forward with an exciting project to build a new state of the art 3G AstroTurf pitch and changing rooms at the school in Rastrick, Brighouse. The development is being supported by West Riding FA and the Football Foundation.

Steve Evans, Headteacher at Rastrick High School said,

“We are really excited to be moving forward with trying to build a 3G AstroTurf pitch at Rastrick. The Football Foundation and West Riding FA have identified that our community is in need of such a facility. The work we have already completed together and the strong on-going working partnership with Rastrick Juniors FC and Clifton Rangers Youth FC is something that we are very excited about, giving us all the opportunity to develop a truly world class sporting environment”.

He continued:

“We hope that the new pitch will promote numerous kinds of sporting and physical activity while bringing together people of all ages and sporting abilities within our community, with aims of improving the level of wellbeing in the area. As this is very much a project for our community and the school, we would like to hear feedback from our local community/residents, so we can develop this project with the needs of the local community in mind.

You can have your say, submit feedback and ask questions about the project.
