All snacks and meals are paid for using our cashless catering system.

Parent/Carers are able to top up student meal accounts online or via our free App.  You can also track what your child spends/eats on a daily basis. For Parents/Carers who do not have access to the internet, you can also make payments by PayPoint which enables you to pay cash at local retailers.

Students are able to check their lunch account balance in school at one of our many machines.

We have two lunch sittings:

Years 7, 9 & 11:           12.10pm – 12.50pm

Years 8 & 10:               12.50pm –  1.30pm

The school advises Parents/Carers that, in the interests of health and safety, community relations and attendance/punctuality, it is most sensible that students remain on site and under the school’s care at lunchtime.

Parents/Carers who wish their child to go home at lunchtime will be required to send in a signed permission letter following discussion and agreement with the relevant Year Group Achievement Team.

Parents/Carers given permission for their child  to leave the school site take full responsibility for their children’s safety and behaviour for the whole of the lunchtime period.

As there are effectively 40 minutes available at lunchtime, please note that only students whose home is within easy walking distance of school will be eligible.

Students going home at lunchtime must be back in school 5 minutes before the warning bell prior to the start of either their Form Group time (first lunch sitting) or Period 4 (second lunch sitting).
