We are a happy school, where people feel happy and valued in their roles.

  • Values-based leadership exists at all levels in school. The school achieves excellent standards by working together.  Instances of formal processes are very rare.

  • Staff retention is extremely high. We have a lower staff turnover compared with the national figure.
  • Staff sickness and absence is very low and compassionate leave of absence arrangements are generous and flexible. We are fully committed to looking after our staff and ensuring they are treated in keeping with our values.

We have a real sense of community, fostered by a rewarding and enjoyable environment where people feel recognised for their commitment. Staff regularly come together to share in each other’s successes, raise money for charity and share their skills through staff-focussed extra-curricular activities.
