Dear all Parents/Carers
I am writing to you to update you on the recent announcement from the government updating the plans for how secondary schools in Tier 3 will open from next week. To clarify the situation for RHS and summarise the announcement from Gavin Williamson, the Secretary of State for Education, please see below;
5th January, RHS is open to the children of critical workers and vulnerable students only. We will be providing remote learning to all other students not in school.
11th January, RHS will open to Year 11 students and the children of critical workers and vulnerable students (providing remote learning to all students not in school)
18th January, RHS to open to all students.
The school’s remote learning platform is in place and will run from the 5th of January. The school will provide more details on the 4th of January.
I am working closely with our Senior Team to support the government’s programme of testing and will be in touch with you again in the coming weeks with further information.
