Central Atrium

Our central atrium is the heart of Rastrick High School. Here you can socialise with your peers, dine and learn.

Maths

Our maths block is state of the art and purpose built. Maths spans 3 floors and is a vibrant and modern place.

English

Our English department is split across two floors and is housed in its own dedicated building.

Science

Our Science department boasts 14 dedicated science class rooms and is situated in its on science hub.

Art & DT

The Art & DT department is split across art rooms, DT workshops, kitchens, Textile rooms and CAD/3D printing rooms.

MFL

Modern foreign languages at Rastrick is a diverse, cultural and welcoming environment. There 8 are classrooms in total in the MFL department.

Music

Our music department features 3 practice rooms and 3 teaching rooms all equipped with keyboards and musical instruments. We have modern computer rooms as well as a purpose built recording studio. Our music department endeavour to give all students a varied practical experience through the use music instruments.

ICT

Our ICT department features distinct teaching rooms equipped with banks of up to date and modern networked pc’s. You can develop skills across a range of software as well being able to learn programming that you can use in everyday life.

PE & Drama

P.E at Rastrick has several key areas such as 2 indoor gyms, multi purpose hall and a newly built fitness suite. Outside we have a large astro turf area, extensive playing fields that include s 3 football pitches and a rugby pitch. We also have purpose built netball and basketballs courts as well as athletics facilities.
