Students will start to look at how health and social care settings operate in today’s society. They will begin to understand the skills and qualities that are needed by people working in a range of health and social care settings. They will look at the key principles of communication and how these can influence the outcomes for people.
The work in Year 11 is a development of the initial look at the workings of Health and Social Care undertaken during Year 10. Students will develop their understanding further and develop practical skills that can be transferred to a Health and Social care setting.
