Through the 3 core themes, students are able to apply and expand upon knowledge and skills studied at KS3 alongside key exam-ready techniques. With increased fluency and complexity, students are able to recall key grammatical concepts confidently, and have the opportunity to develop skills to manipulate these concepts across a wide variety of relatable topics.
Students build upon the foundations of GCSE learning in Year 10, with an increased emphasis on exam-ready skills. The skills-based focus, alongside carefully sequenced topics equip students with the transferable skills to continue into further language study or for the world of employment.
